Introduction
Version 24.17 brings focused improvements to streamline your chat and an improved display of your insights. This release continues to enhance user experience without altering core functionality, making it easier to conduct efficient data analysis.
Key Improvements
Dimension Value Search in Chat
Users can now narrow their analyses to specific subjects in their data by typing "@" followed by at least one character in chat. This allows users to focus their analysis on a subject, such as a brand, by typing its name or a partial match. For example, typing “@pas” will return “pasta” in the search results, helping users quickly select and analyze data for that dimension.
- Fuzzy Search: Facilitates flexible and intuitive dimension search, even when the entered text is not an exact match.
To ensure this feature is enabled for your copilot be sure to specify a dataset within the copilot settings found in Skill Studio. It is for this dataset that the dimension values are searched and displayed.
Additional Enhancements
Insights Section Moved to Each Output
The Insights section has been integrated into the table and charts sections to provide a more consolidated view. While there is no change in functionality or how insights are written, this update allows users to view insights alongside other data without needing to switch between tabs, improving data workflow.
